Biography

Jeff Ardi, Head Chef and Owner of Mr. Ardi’s Catering first became interested in cooking at the age of twelve while assisting his mom in cooking dinner for the family. 

After completing High School, he decided to continue in the culinary field and enrolled at Le Cordon Blue School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, where he learned the fundamental skills about cooking and baking.

After graduating college in 2008, he got his first job at the Porter Ranch Country Club.  While working at the Country Club, Jeff learned many valuable skills about catering large events and banquets.

Jeff continued working in the food business, as Head Chef at Fresh Gourmet, where he cooked and packaged pre-made lunches and dinners for Gelson’s grocery stores throughout the Los Angeles Valley.  Jeff made many connections as well as learning worthwhile lessons on making and selling pre-packaged foods. 

In March of 2011, Jeff debuted Mr. Ardi’s Catering at the Northridge Farmers Market, with much success, he has continued his attendance here weekly during the months of March – October.  Jeff serves a wide variety of food at this local event, every Wednesday; ranging from Smoked BBQ Brisket and Pork Sandwiches to a large variety of sides and goodies. 

In 2013, Jeff the Chef opened up his first kitchen, where he offers hot lunches, pre-packaged meals, kitchen space rentals and now has the space to comfortably cook for his larger catering events.
