Head Chef and Owner of Mr. Ardi’s Catering, Jeff Ardi initially became interested in cooking at age 12 while helping his mom prepare family dinners. After high school graduation, he decided to enter the culinary world and enrolled at Le Cordon BleuCollege ofCulinary Arts, where he honed fundamental skills like cooking and baking. After graduating college in 2008, Jeff began work at the Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge, CA. During his experience there, he gleaned many valuable skills about catering large events and banquets. Jeff next served as Head Chef at Fresh Gourmet, where he cooked and packaged pre-made lunches and dinners for L.A.-based Gelson’s food markets. In 2011, Jeff debuted Mr. Ardi’s Catering at the weekly Northridge Farmers Market where he offered up – and still does today– a wide range of delectables, from Smoked BBQ Brisket and Pork Sandwiches to a large variety of gourmet sides and goodies. In 2013, Jeff officially opened the doors to his first private commercial kitchen, and today, continues to rent the space to personal chefs, event and corporate caterers, cooking classes and more. Today, Jeff remains an innovator in the art of catering and events,providing exceptional, full-service catering services to L.A.-area residents and their guests.
